Shanghai Tower won the 2019 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Global Innovation Award on June 25, becoming the world’s first winner of the award.
The Building Owners and Managers Association, founded in 1907, is a professional organization of commercial real estate professionals based in the United States and Canada. The BOMA award is regarded as the “Oscar Award of the commercial real estate industry”.
Shanghai Tower is the first award-winning Chinese project in the 112-year history of BOMA and the only Chinese commercial real estate project selected as one of the finalists.
The award is not only an honor for owners and the management team of Shanghai Tower but also a recognition for China’s real estate operation ability.
Shanghai Tower obtained BOMA China’s COE certification in 2017 and BOMA International’s 360 certification last year.
